Welbeck appointed Parogon to design and fit out multiple floors across its specialist outpatient centres, from flagship reception and consultation suites to diagnostic imaging and day-case recovery.
Welbeck promises fast access to leading specialists and the latest diagnostics. The spaces had to feel exceptional and work with clinical precision, and be delivered around patients in live, clinically active buildings.
The Thinking
Less time between consultation, diagnosis and treatment.
The layout places consultation, diagnostics and treatment close together, so a patient's journey from first appointment to diagnosis to treatment takes less time and fewer journeys between floors.
Around that clinical logic, the finish is pure hospitality: warm timber, natural stone, soft light and generous lounge seating, so the building feels as reassuring as the care inside it.
The Build
Delivered inside live clinical buildings.
Works were phased around consulting sessions, imaging lists and day-case procedures, to a demanding programme.
Patient services ran throughout. Welbeck grew its capability without closing a clinic to do it.
